Inspired by the Middle East's proximity to the ruins of ancient Mesopotamia, Timelinks an environmental design firm has drawn up plans for a carbon neutral structure known only as, "the Ziggurat". The giant structure is said act like a mini city which is capable of supporting close to a million residents while remaining completely environmentally friendly. The surrounding walls and outer side of the structure will be covered with massive solar panels, giant wind turbines will be situated at key corners of the building, steam power will be harnessed on the outside areas of the Ziggurat and finally geo thermal vents will be used all in an effort to remain self-sufficient.
